Late resume of the Barcelona Affiliate Conference
The IGB finaly stopped by at my hometown Barcelona. And obviously I attended the show, which gave me also the opportunity to be a good host. This time I participated at 2 panels:
Live Affiliate Coaching & Advice Panel
We discused live a couple of websites, partly submitted before the conference and some thrown at us from the audiance. The panel was hosted from John Wright from gaffg.com, Judd Muir from Yabadoo.es was the specialist for the affiliate topic and Nikola Zugic from latestbingobonuses.com made good comments on conversion and design.
Demon SEO: How To Defend Against Black Hat Techniques
Jason Duke founder of StrangeLogic moderated this panel, where I had the chance to discuss topics and questions with Dave Naylor from Bronco Ltd. It was a very interesting session on the security of websites, online and offline defencive tactics. Dave mentioned for example https://www.cloudflare.com/ to use the knowlegde of the hive to block faster possible attackers.
